Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Royal Pawz USA website, mobile application, and grooming services. By accessing or using Royal Pawz USA services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Royal Pawz USA provides mobile pet grooming services at customer locations using fully equipped mobile grooming vans.

Services may include:

  • bathing
  • brushing
  • haircuts
  • nail trimming
  • ear cleaning
  • de-shedding treatments
  • flea treatment services
  • other grooming services as offered

All services are performed by trained grooming professionals.

3. User Accounts

Customers may be required to create an account to book services.

Customers agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information
  • maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
  • update information when changes occur

Royal Pawz USA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.

4. Booking and Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

Due to travel time, traffic conditions, and the needs of pets being serviced before your appointment, arrival times may vary.

Royal Pawz USA will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window.

5. Parking and Access Requirements

Because Royal Pawz USA operates a mobile grooming van, customers must provide:

  • safe and legal parking near the residence
  • adequate space for the grooming van
  • access to the pet at the scheduled time

Customers are responsible for bringing their pets to the grooming van.

Royal Pawz groomers do not enter homes or private property unless necessary for safe pet transfer.

If safe parking or access is not available, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled.

6. Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

If the customer is not present at the scheduled appointment time or cannot provide access to the pet, the appointment may be considered a no-show.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future service.

7. Pet Behavior and Aggression

Customers must disclose any history of aggressive behavior or biting.

Royal Pawz USA reserves the right to refuse or stop grooming services if a pet displays aggressive behavior or poses a safety risk.

Partial grooming charges may apply if a service is stopped due to aggressive behavior.

Owners remain responsible for injuries caused by their pets.

8. Matted Coat Policy

Severely matted coats may require shaving for the safety and humane treatment of the pet.

Dematting severely tangled coats may cause pain or injury to the pet and may not be attempted.

Shaving matted coats may reveal pre-existing skin conditions including:

  • irritation
  • sores
  • parasites
  • infections

These conditions are typically caused by prolonged matting and are not the result of grooming.

Additional grooming charges may apply for severely matted coats.

9. Flea and Parasite Policy

If fleas or parasites are discovered during grooming:

  • flea treatment may be required
  • sanitation procedures may be performed
  • additional fees may apply

Royal Pawz USA follows strict sanitation protocols to protect all pets serviced.

10. Senior Pets and Health Conditions

Customers must disclose any medical conditions that may affect grooming including:

  • heart conditions
  • seizures
  • arthritis
  • respiratory issues
  • anxiety or behavioral sensitivity

Senior pets or pets with medical conditions may require modified grooming services.

Royal Pawz USA reserves the right to shorten or stop grooming services if necessary for the pet's safety.

11. Pet Injury Disclosure

Pets may move unexpectedly during grooming procedures.

Although every precaution is taken, minor cuts, nicks, or abrasions may occur due to sudden movement by the pet.

Royal Pawz USA will notify the pet owner immediately if an injury occurs.

12. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of a medical emergency during grooming, Royal Pawz USA will attempt to contact the owner.

If the owner cannot be reached and veterinary care is necessary, the customer authorizes Royal Pawz USA to seek veterinary treatment.

The pet owner is responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.

13. Payment Terms

Payment is processed electronically after the grooming service is completed.

Royal Pawz USA accepts major credit and debit cards.

Customers authorize Royal Pawz USA to charge their payment method for:

  • grooming services
  • applicable add-on services
  • cancellation fees
  • sanitation fees if applicable

14. Service Satisfaction Policy

If a customer is not satisfied with the grooming service, Royal Pawz USA must be notified within 24 hours of the appointment.

Royal Pawz USA may offer:

  • a correction appointment
  • a partial service adjustment

Refunds are not guaranteed and are determined at the discretion of Royal Pawz USA.

15. Customer Conduct

Royal Pawz USA maintains a safe and respectful work environment.

Royal Pawz USA reserves the right to refuse service to customers who behave in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner toward employees.

16. Photo and Video Consent

Royal Pawz USA may take photos or videos of pets during grooming for documentation, training, or marketing purposes.

Customers may opt out of having their pet's photos used for marketing purposes.

17. Mobile Grooming Environment

Royal Pawz USA operates a mobile grooming service where grooming takes place inside a grooming van.

The grooming environment may include:

  • grooming equipment noise
  • vibration from vehicle systems
  • confined workspace conditions

Pets may react differently to a mobile grooming environment than in traditional grooming salons.

18. Limitation of Liability

Royal Pawz USA and its employees will exercise reasonable care while grooming pets.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Pawz USA shall not be held liable for:

  • injuries caused by aggressive pet behavior
  • complications arising from pre-existing conditions
  • conditions revealed during grooming that were previously hidden by coat condition
  • allergic reactions to grooming products

19. Force Majeure

Royal Pawz USA shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond its control including:

  • severe weather
  • natural disasters
  • vehicle breakdowns
  • road closures
  • power outages

Appointments may be rescheduled under such circumstances.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

21. Changes to Terms

Royal Pawz USA reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated Terms will be posted on the website or app and will become effective upon posting.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
